...than to send four women into a store that sells nice stuff ...during a sale.. with my checkbook.
Yep, we picked up our centrepieces, bombonieri, and bridal shower gifts today. The grand total is a wonderfully astronomical amount that brings tears to my eyes. I guess to some people, "sale" means "buy more expensive stuff with the current budget" indstead of "we can now buy the same stuff on a smaller budget". It's all good, tho. At the end of the day, we have stuff that is quite a bit better than what we thought we would have.
All that's left of this chapter is the brute force labour it will take to decorate 32 centrepieces, 120 bombonieri and 80 bridal gifts. Shweet.
