Google takes over the wold

... sort of :)

I just found out that Google has now made digital sattelite images of the WHOLE FREAKING PLANET avaialble through Google Maps Sattelite images of Canada and the US have been available for some months now. I tried to go over to Italy, but only very specific locations are available with much detail.

Here are some interesting images:

St. Peter in Rome
Florence, Duomo
Olympic Stadium ( Montreal, Canada )
West Edmonton Mall - North America's largest shopping mall more info (in Edmonton AB Canada)
